Privacy Policy

Karthus WPA Analyzer · Last updated: June 2025

        Short version: We only use publicly available League of Legends match data
        accessed through the Riot Games API. We do not collect passwords, payment info, or any personal
        information beyond the Riot ID you enter. No advertising or third-party analytics are used.
      

1. What Data We Collect

When you use Karthus WPA Analyzer, the following data is processed:

Riot ID (GameName#TAG) — entered voluntarily by you to look up match data. This is used solely to identify your account in the Riot Games API.
Match data — publicly available ranked solo/duo match history, timeline frames, and end-of-game statistics for games where you played Karthus, retrieved from the Riot Games API.
Rank information — your current ranked tier, division, and LP, retrieved from the Riot Games API.

2. What Data We Do Not Collect

Passwords or account credentials of any kind
Email addresses (unless you contact us directly)
Payment or financial information
IP addresses or device fingerprints stored persistently
Any data not publicly available through the Riot Games API

3. How Data Is Used

Data retrieved from the Riot Games API is used exclusively to:

Compute Win Probability Added (WPA) statistics for your Karthus games
Train and evaluate the win probability model on aggregate data
Display item and rune statistics across the collected player base

Match data is stored server-side in a local database to power analysis and avoid redundant API calls. This data is publicly available and contains no sensitive personal information. Your Riot ID is not stored beyond the duration of your session.

4. Data Sharing

We do not sell, rent, or share your data with any third parties for marketing or advertising purposes. The only external service we interact with is the Riot Games API to retrieve match data.

5. Third-Party Services

Riot Games API — all match and account data is sourced from here. Riot Games' own Privacy Notice and API Terms of Service apply to data retrieved through their platform.
Chart.js — a JavaScript charting library loaded from a public CDN (jsDelivr) to render data visualizations. No data is transmitted to Chart.js.

No advertising networks, analytics SDKs (e.g., Google Analytics), or social media trackers are used on this site.

6. Cookies

This site does not use cookies or any persistent client-side storage beyond what your browser requires for standard page operation.

7. Data Retention

Aggregate match statistics may be retained indefinitely to power the win probability model and leaderboard features. If you would like the match data associated with your Riot ID removed from our database, please contact us at the address below.

8. Children's Privacy

This Service is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect data from children under 13. League of Legends has its own age requirements, and by using this Service you represent that you meet those requirements.

9. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any changes will be posted on this page with an updated “Last updated” date. Continued use of the Service after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the revised policy.
